History

North Bethesda Village was launched in early 2019 by a small group of community members. A Planning Group provided overall direction and was supported by four workgroups. Between April of 2019 and June of 2020, workgroup members achieved the following milestones:

Operations: Developed Bylaws and filed Articles of Incorporation with the State of Maryland.

Communications: Developed informational materials, developed a database of interested community members, and collaborated with a consultant on the development of the website.

Social: Planned several social and educational events.

Services: Distributed and tabulated results of a community survey to gather information to guide the development of future services and supports.

Mission

North Bethesda Village is a grass-roots community organization in which neighbors come together to provide mutual support and assistance, as well as to foster social connections through various planned, shared activities.
