NBV is determining if there's an interest in having a “Green Group”, a gathering of like-minded  folks who would meet periodically to discuss topics of interest and potentially organize for action. Several other villages in Montgomery County have such a group, and we might also join with them to add clout to their initiatives.

Even though the subject matter can feel overwhelming, approaching environmental topics as a group actually gives each of us strength to listen and respond to what is coming our way, and working together makes it all so much better.  And another reason this is so important to many of us is our grandchildren….

We will gather for an inaugural meeting of the NBV Green Group on Monday, July 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at Davis Library. We plan to use our some of time to explore which topics people are interested in addressing at future meetings.
