Kreeger Museum Art Tour

Explore the Kreeger Museum with North Bethesda Village on a docent-guided tour of the art and the main floor and sculpture patio.  The Museum was the home of David and Carmen Kreeger, who focused on collecting 19th and 20th century modern art with the intention of their home becoming the museum it is today.  Included in the museum's collection are works by Picasso, Braque, Monet and Frankenthaler with works by local area artists, such as Gene Davis, Morris Louis and Sam Gilliam.  The sculpture patio includes works by Henry Moore, Jacques Lipchitz, and Isamu Noguchi.

The Museum has waived its normal entrance fee for NBV visitors, and is located in the Foxhall neighborhood  close to American University.  Parking is available at the museum (including a few handicapped spots next to the building as well as regular parking in the next-door school parking lot.  

Car pooling is recommended, though, to minimize auto traffic congestion and energy usage.
