Session 3 of a 4-session introduction to Mindfulness Meditation. Session 1 began October 16.
The four sessions are led by Yasmin Abadian and are meant to teach us how to calm our minds and focus our thoughts, while enhancing relationships and building emotional regulation, i.e., becoming the best “you” with more self-awareness, self-confidence, and resilience.
Mindfulness meditation nurtures inner calm, allowing each of us to be more thoughtful and make wiser choices. Research has shown that a person who habitually meditates shows lower stress levels, lower blood pressure and is physically healthier with improvements in immune system and brain functioning.
