Mindfulness Meditation (Zoom)

Have you ever wondered about meditation or already know but want to try a new practice?  This is the first of four free sessions that might be just for you!  Yasmin Abadian will lead classes meant to teach us how to calm our minds and focus our thoughts, while enhancing relationships and building emotional regulation, i.e., becoming the best “you” with more self-awareness, self-confidence, and resilience.

Mindfulness meditation nurtures inner calm, allowing each of us to be more thoughtful and make wiser choices.  Research has shown that a person who habitually meditates shows lower stress levels, lower blood pressure and is physically healthier with improvements in immune system and brain functioning.

It is recommended that those interested participate in all four introductory sessions as each will be on a different topic, starting with a basic introduction to mindfulness and meditation and progressing through mindfulness of the body & emotions, thought, and the heart.
