Senior Robotics

Do you wonder how people design and build the robots that can assemble cars in an automotive factory or teach these cars to self-drive? Or perhaps you have marveled at the automated vacuum that can clean your floors by itself.

The Teen Difference organization, which has provided guidance to our seniors at Teen Tech Assist Clinics held bi-monthly at the Davis Library, will now share with us a video presentation on the state of robotic science and then assist participants in designing and developing their own simple robotic projects.

This event is expected to be both illuminating and fun.  Participants will explore technical innovation while interacting with teenagers interested in building a bridge to the senior population.

The session is limited to 15 NBV participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
