Special Event: Docent-Led Tour of the Library of Congress

  • Library of Congress Jefferson Building 10 First Street, SE Washington, DC (map)

The Library of Congress is an iconic DC site with a fascinating history and an unending collection of books and other artifacts.  Our tour guide, Clark Beil, will share the history of the Library, show us the highlights, and give us the opportunity to view the Library's outstanding Reading Room.

Note that parking on Capitol Hill is extremely difficult, so we encourage attendees to use Metro. The Capitol South station drops you right at the Madison building and is a short walk to the Jefferson building, where we will have our tour.  For more information about Metro and parking options, see https://www.loc.gov/visit/directions/.

A limited number of spots is available.  If demand outpaces supply, we will schedule a second tour at a later date.

Attendees should meet at the 1st Ave. ground entrance, which is one block north of the exit from the Capitol South Metro station.
