All summer long, Strathmore presents weekly Wednesday concerts on the lawn in front of the Strathmore Mansion. On Wednesday, July 24th, North Bethesda Village neighbors are invited to gather together to enjoy an evening of live music.
The featured group on July 24th is American Patchwork Quilt. According to the Strathmore website: “American Patchwork Quartet is a one-of-a-kind supergroup that hones its musical identity from the backgrounds of its diverse members. On a mission to reclaim the immigrant soul of American roots music, their cultural threads draw from jazz, country, folk, West African, and East Asian influences.”
Bring a chair or a blanket and some dinner or snacks to enjoy during the performance (also available for sale). We will find a perfect spot to sit together at the top of the lawn. Look for the blue and white sign for North Bethesda Village. And don't forget your bug spray!
The concert starts at 7pm; try to arrive by 6:45pm.
More information about the concert as well as instructions regarding parking and other details can be found at:
