The NBV Walking Group is meeting at the Pennyfield Lock for a special sunset walk.

We will walk north on the Canal until we get to the concrete walls (about 1.5 miles), where we can sit and view the river and setting sun. You are welcome to bring friends and family.

Pennyfield Lock is at 12100 Pennyfield Lock Road. Head down to the end of the road, turn left, and park at the very end of the driveway near the gate. We will meet in front of the lock house.

Note that thunderstorms can pop up any time. If you want to know whether the walk is “on”, please call 240-781-8878 between 4:00 and 5:00 pm on Sunday afternoon.
