Teen Tech Assistance

Autumn Teen Tech Assist Clinic

Now is the time to get help resolving issues with your laptop, iPad, or cellphone or to make your current technology work more efficiently.  A set of local teens will work one-on-one with you to solve specific issues you are experiencing with your tech tools.  NBV neighbors are asked to sign up in advance for a specific time slots, although there usually is the ability for slot in a walk-in as well.  The teens should be able to help five to six seniors in each 30-minute time slot.

For reference purposes, the teens have worked on the following types of tasks before:

1. Organizing and uploading your files to Google

2. Managing saved passwords on laptop, tablet or cellphone

3. Adjusting notification settings on cellphone to adjust notification noise and specifying which apps can send notifications

4. Getting rid of unwanted applications on cellphone

5. Updating software on laptop, tablet, cellphone, etc.

6. Wiping personal files and documents from technology being "retired," donated or junked.

During session registration, requestors will be asked to choose one of three time slots.  There will be four registrations per time slot, since we will be saving room for Davis Library registrants as well. However, there also will be a wait list, so we can contact should we have more teens available than expected.

Email "park21217@aol.com" for questions, and we’ll reply as soon as we can.  Thank you.
