The World Dining Adventures group meets at a different world cuisine restaurant each month on (usually) the fourth Tuesday of the month using outdoor seating when possible. We welcome you to our group! Note that this month we’re meeting on a Friday because Caruso’s serves lunch only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
“Caruso’s Grocery is modeled after the classic, Italian-American ‘red sauce’ joint. You know the one: basket-wrapped bottles of Chianti, a killer chicken parm, Sinatra pouring through the speakers. If you’re looking for modern interpretations of a chef's take on the classics, you won’t find them here. Caruso’s Grocery is home to traditional Italian-American fare focused on execution and high quality ingredients – menu items include chicken parmesan, penne alla vodka, mozzarella en carozza, veal francaise, garlic bread with four cheese sauce, and more old school hits.”
But for lunch, Caruso’s serves a fixed price menu, which includes: 1) a salad (Caesar Salad, Tricolor Salad or Caruso’s House Salad; 2), a Pasta entre (any pasta from dinner menu), and 3) dessert: a Nutella-filled mini cannoli. NBV will pay the food tab based on the fees collected at registration. The fixed price lunch will cost $31.00 (including meal, tax, and tip costs).
Caruso’s is located at 11820 Trade Street, N. Bethesda in Pike and Rose. If parking in the Trade Street parking lot, exit at the first street level possible, which is opposite Caruso’s outdoor patio.
We can reserve indoor seating, but not outdoor patio seating. Hence, those who prefer outdoor patio seating should arrive on time in order to find adequate table space available. Also, our Zeffy registration form will ask for seating preference so we can know how many indoor seats to reserve.
