October’s choice for world dining is Commonwealth India in the Pike & Rose shopping/living complex. Village diners will choose from a fixed price lunch menu with different options for meat and vegetarian palates and which provides an easy introduction to the restaurant’s culinary abilities. Offerings are combos of tandoori (choice of chicken or lamb), butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, or vegetable curry served with daal and garden salad.

Given that October still has good weather for outside eating, we will offer both indoor and outdoor (up to 8 diners) seating. But to make sure we have appropriate seating for both preferences, we are asking interested diners to reserve spots (including seating preferences) at least a week in advance of the lunch.

Each registrant for lunch will be asked to pay $20 (or $40 for two participants) at the time of registration to cover the lunch price, tax, and gratuity, including 5% extra for large group size. In addition, orders of extra drinks must be paid separately upon ordering.
