Given that the end of November may find many having large meals and/or visiting family in other parts of the country, our November World Dining Adventure will be early enough in the month to, hopefully, skirt travel and culinary plans scheduled for later in the month.
The November selection is one of those “you wouldn’t know it exists” restaurants in a rather out-of-the-way part of the county. That said, the experience is like visiting an Italian friend’s home where his mother is in the kitchen preparing Italian fare with a bit of American accent while her son makes you comfortable in the dining room.
The menu provides several vegetarian as well as meat and seafood options.
The restaurant menu can be viewed at: https://www.mammalenapizza.com.
The drive to the restaurant is a bit over 20 minutes from our zip code, but is a straight shot once on Clopper Road. Carpooling may be possible and can be requested or offered during registration for the lunch.
