The North Bethesda Village’s Senior Single Women’s Friendship Group for Ages 55+ meets on the first Thursday of each month. It begins with a pre-set topic to get the conversation rolling. May’s conversation starts with “Aging with Grace - - enjoying life and embracing who we are” and then will move on to topics suggested by attendees.

The Friendship Group’s primary objective is to provide a forum for senior single women to connect with others in the community, and is open to single women regardless of previous marital status (e.g., divorced, widowed, or never married) who live in or near the North Bethesda area.

Location:  “The Grand” apartment building, 5801 Nicholson Lane, North Bethesda, MD. The building is on the North side of Nicholson Lane, which runs between Old Georgetown Road and Rockville Pike.  

Enter the complex through the gate house; tell the attendant at the entrance gate that you are going to a meeting in the Grand's Board Room. When you exit the gate, turn right and circle in front of the building where you will find a valet. Ask the valet where you should park for the 1.5 hour meeting.  Parking is free!

Upon entering the Grand lobby, proceed straight ahead to the “Piano Room.” On the left side, next to the coffee machines, will be double doors leading to the “Board Room,” although no name is on the doors. Upon entering through these doors, you will see a large oval table and chairs to be used for the meeting. However, if the weather allows and seating is available, the group will meet on the outside patio accessed through the indoor meeting room.

Please note: Please, no food or drink.  Masks are requested when meeting inside.
