A Visit to Glenstone

The Glenstone Museum is celebrated for its ability to marry art, architecture, and nature into a viewing experience that is very different from most formal museums. 

The event will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 19th.  A member of the NBV Board of Directors will welcome tour members at the entrance to the museum.  A museum official will offer a short orientation, and then group members will begin their visit.  You are free to wander at your own pace, alone or with others, within the museum buildings and expansive outdoor areas.  Although we have listed a 2-hour event, you are free to extend your stay up to the museum's closing for the day.

The Glenstone Museum is located at 12100 Glen Road, Potomac, Maryland 20854.  Tour members will be expected to provide their own transportation to the museum; carpooling is highly recommended.  Parking is free within the museum grounds.

When planning your trip, please take into account possible road construction en route to the museum.
